The Reliance Fire Museum is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and operation of fire apparatus. Our collection
includes everything from a 1901 Waterous horse drawn steam pumper to a 1958 Pirsch 100' tillered aerial.
We have preserved many of the techniques used in the original construction of older apparatus. These include gold
leaf decoration and striping, spinning of metal pieces such as steamer crowns, and rebuilding of engine and pumps with leather
seals and/or rubber valves. Contact us for details.
Our apparatus can often be seen at both local events and SPAAMFAA events around the country. Take a look at our upcoming
events page to see if we'll be near you any time soon.
Visitation is currently by appointment. If you would like
to visit, email us at our link listed on the web site.
