The Denver Mile High Hook and Ladder Chapter hosted the 20210 Summer Muster.  A trip to Estes Park to see the Reliance Museum was part of that event and over 150 SPAAMFAA members made the journey to Estes Park!

The visitors were greeted to the sight of our 1901 Waterous Steamer pumping to a deluge gun, while the 1938 Fox HT pumped to the 1904/1947 Ex Pittsburgh Water Tower.  We spent a good part of the spring getting the water tower ready to operate, it had been at least 40 years since water had flowed through the nozzle.  The joints were rusted, hose was missing, the outriggers were frozen, and the engine didn't run well.

The 1967 Snorkel is also seen in the background, being fed by Estes Park's 1972 R Model Mack.

Another view of the steamer and water tower operating at beautiful Lake Estes.

We were fortunate to have lots of friends join us to help make the muster a success.  Here, Chuck Buschardt from Houston operates the HT pumping into the water tower.
